Welcome to Korea International Club held a special lecture on the Afghanistan situation and the impact on women by inviting the specialist Dr. Chungeun Lee on Tuesday October 12th. It was done through Zoom meeting from 2 to 3pm and around 40 members participated with the interest on how the political situation changes the lives of women and the people around them. Dr. Lee covered the historic background of the present situation of Afghanistan and the meaning of military withdrawal based on a variety of data. Participants were specifically eager to know the contrast between Korea and Afghanistan.

WKIC is trying to extend the pursuit of lifelong education to the general public by using the digital platform and this on-line special lecture proved to be an efficient gadget for that purpose.
