Beyond the fortress ruins, the group observed the remains of the <b>Chosun Jingu (Shinto Shrine)</b> from the Japanese colonial era, an <b>air-raid shelter</b> reflecting the pain of war, and <b>inscribed stones (Gakjaseongseok)</b> that detail how the wall was built.</p></li><li><p><b>Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Museum:</b> Following the wall tour, attendees spent time reflecting on the life and legacy of the independence activist Ahn Jung-geun. 	<description><![CDATA[<p>On February 23, 2026, the Welcome to Korea International Club<b> (WKIC)</b> held its 2026 General Assembly in the 10th-floor auditorium of the Girl Scouts Korea building.</p><h3>General Assembly Overview</h3><p>During the assembly, 28 delegates were in attendance. The following key items were addressed and approved:</p><ul><li><p><b>Reporting &amp; Settlement:</b> The 2025 business report and financial settlement were approved unanimously.</p></li><li><p><b>Future Planning:</b> The 2026 business plan and budget proposal were reviewed and passed.</p></li><li><p><b>Appointments:</b> <b>Lee Sun-joo</b> and <b>Yoo Kyung-sun</b> were elected as new board members following a recommendation by delegate Jang Seong-won, receiving unanimous support from all present members.</p></li><li><p><b>Delegation of Authority:</b> It was decided that matters regarding the appointment and resignation of directors and officers occurring throughout 2026 would be delegated to the Board of Directors.</p></li></ul><hr /><h3>Special Lecture: "Talking AI"</h3><p>Following the official assembly, the second part of the event featured a special lecture by <b>Pyun Jun-beom</b>, Lead Professor of AI at Korea Occupational Training College, titled <b>"Talking AI."</b></p><p>Professor Pyun provided an accessible explanation of AI concepts and led a practice-oriented session on its applications.
