Viewing 150 works—including copperplate prints, woodcut prints, and oil paintings—by Kim Sang-yu, a "hermit painter" who explored the beauty of Korea and poured over four months of ascetic devotion into a single piece, made us forget the midsummer heat. We also had the chance to enjoy the exhibition "Extraordinary: The Moments Time Accumulates," which was conveniently on display on the third floor of the same building.
