Journey Through History

The program followed a curated path through Seoul's historical landmarks:

• Hanyangdoseong Museum & Site: The first stop allowed participants to gain a deep understanding of the wall's history and construction process through professional commentary. Beyond the fortress ruins, the group observed the remains of the Chosun Jingu (Shinto Shrine) from the Japanese colonial era, an air-raid shelter reflecting the pain of war, and inscribed stones (Gakjaseongseok) that detail how the wall was built.

• Ahn Jung-geun Memorial Museum: Following the wall tour, attendees spent time reflecting on the life and legacy of the independence activist Ahn Jung-geun. The exhibits provided a profound opportunity to contemplate his patriotism and historical significance.

• Hanyangdoseong Information Center: The itinerary concluded with a screening of informative videos and a comprehensive briefing on the various trails of the Seoul City Wall.

This event served as a meaningful journey, allowing participants to witness the layers of time—from the ancient Joseon Dynasty to modern history—within the heart of the city.

General Assembly Overview

During the assembly, 28 delegates were in attendance. The following key items were addressed and approved:

• Reporting & Settlement: The 2025 business report and financial settlement were approved unanimously.

• Future Planning: The 2026 business plan and budget proposal were reviewed and passed.

• Appointments: Lee Sun-joo and Yoo Kyung-sun were elected as new board members following a recommendation by delegate Jang Seong-won, receiving unanimous support from all present members.

• Delegation of Authority: It was decided that matters regarding the appointment and resignation of directors and officers occurring throughout 2026 would be delegated to the Board of Directors.

Special Lecture: "Talking AI"

Following the official assembly, the second part of the event featured a special lecture by Pyun Jun-beom, Lead Professor of AI at Korea Occupational Training College, titled "Talking AI."

Professor Pyun provided an accessible explanation of AI concepts and led a practice-oriented session on its applications. Highlights of the lecture included:

• Mobile AI Integration: How to operate AI tools via smartphone.

• Creative Content: Methods for producing music and videos using AI.

• Real-life Application: Various use cases for incorporating AI into daily life.

The session was highly well-received, providing participants with a meaningful opportunity to become more familiar with AI technology.
