On January 6, 2026, the Seoul Branch held its first official cultural outing of the year. Six members participated in a guided viewing of "Masterpieces from the San Diego Museum of Art," a comprehensive exhibition spanning from the Renaissance to 20th-century Modernism.
The afternoon began with a social lunch featuring traditional Korean Gomtang and Yukjeon, fostering a warm start to the new year. Following lunch, the members attended a 2:00 PM docent-led session to gain a structural understanding of the exhibition.
The members then spent time individually appreciating the vast collection, which included works from the Southern and Northern Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, Realism, and Impressionism. Among the many masterpieces, Vrel’s "Interior with a Seated Woman" stood out as a favorite, leaving a lasting impression with its serene beauty. This event served as a meaningful opportunity for members to deepen their cultural insights and strengthen their bonds.
